Overview

Customize the look and feel of your dashboard with fonts, icons, colors, branding, and themes. These settings are especially useful for shared and public dashboards.

Accessing Customize Settings

  1. Enter Edit mode
  2. Click the More menu (⋮) in the toolbar
  3. Select Customize

The Customize panel opens on the right side with sections for each customization area. Use its search field to find settings by label or related terms such as font, logo, or cache. Matching sections open automatically; clear the field or press Esc to show everything again.

Dashboard Font

Choose one font for dashboard titles, labels, values, tables, and controls:

  • Default — Geist, the standard dashboard font
  • Serif — a traditional serif style
  • Mono — a monospaced style
  • System UI — the viewer's operating system interface font

Dashboard Icon

Use Icon to select a searchable catalog icon, choose an emoji from the quick picker, or paste an emoji. The icon helps identify the dashboard in the Dashboards list and breadcrumb. On multi-page dashboards, each page can have its own icon, shown in tabs or the pages sidebar.

Color Mode (Theme)

Choose the overall color scheme:

  • Light — Light backgrounds, dark text
  • Dark — Dark backgrounds, light text
  • System (default) — Follows the viewer's OS/browser preference

Whitelabel / Branding

Add your organization's branding:

  • Brand — Follow a saved brand preset instead of setting the logo and colours by hand. Editing the preset re-brands every dashboard following it, and you can still override any setting on a single dashboard.

Or set the branding on this dashboard alone:

  • Primary Logo — Displayed in the header strip. Size options: XS, SM, MD, LG, XL. Position: beside the title (horizontal) or above (stacked).
  • Watermark — Secondary logo (e.g., client logo), right-aligned. Size options: XS, SM, MD, LG, XL.

Theme Colors

Customize visual elements:

  • Dashboard Background — Page background color
  • Widget Card Background — Background of widget cards
  • Text Color — Primary text color
  • Widget Title Color — Title text in widgets
  • Header Background — Shared header strip background (auto-adjusts text contrast)
  • Sidebar Background — Sidebar navigation background
  • Button Style — Solid, tilted, or off

Chart Colors

Global chart color palette options:

  • Auto — Smart color selection based on data
  • Categorical — Distinct colors for different categories
  • Platform — Brand colors for ad platforms (Facebook blue, Google colors, etc.)
  • By Metric — Semantic colors (blue=spend, green=revenue, etc.)
  • Light — Pastel colors
  • Solid — Single color in blue, green, purple, orange, teal, or red
  • Mono-hue — Shades of a single color
  • Gradient — Color gradients

Additional chart customization: Grid line color, Axis line color.

Table Colors

  • Header background
  • Alternating row (stripe) color
  • Border color
  • Text color
  • Pagination button accent color

KPI Sparkline Colors

  • Fixed — All sparklines use the same color
  • By Metric — Each metric gets a distinct color from a palette (semantic or light)

Filter Badge Color

Customize the accent color of active filter badges to match your brand.
