Grain is a conversation intelligence platform that automatically records, transcribes, and analyzes sales and customer meetings. It generates AI summaries, action items, highlights, and full transcripts — linking them back to participants, teams, calendar events, and CRM context.
Follow our setup guide to connect Grain to Improvado.
Step 1. Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Step 2. Click on the Grain tile.
Step 3. Authorize your Grain account using your Organization Name and Token.
Note: You can generate your Grain Personal Access Token by following these steps:
Step 3.1. Sign in to the Grain web app.
Step 3.2. Open Settings → Integrations and switch to the API tab (direct link: grain.com/app/settings/integrations?tab=api).
Step 3.3. Click Generate token.
Step 3.4. Copy the token and paste it into the Token field in Improvado. You can enter any value into the Organization Name field — it is only used as the connection title in Improvado.
Step 4. After completing the connection process, the Grain connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
Step 5. When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
Step 6. To extract data from the connected sources, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from Grain.
You can find information about the latest API changes in the official Grain API documentation.
