Attio

Updated on May 14, 2026

Description

Attio is a relationship-intelligence CRM built around customizable objects. Improvado extracts your full Attio workspace — records (Companies, People, Deals, and any custom objects), record history, lists and list entries, notes, tasks, meetings, threads, files, workspace members, and call recordings — and lands it next to your ad spend and web analytics in your data warehouse.

Setup guide

Follow our setup guide to connect Attio to Improvado.

Step 1. Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.

Step 2. Click on the Attio tile.

Choose authorization option:

OAuth (recommended)

On the Attio tile, select the OAuth authentication option and click Authorize. You will be redirected to Attio.

Sign in with the account that has access to the workspace you want to connect.

Review the requested scopes and click Allow. You will be redirected back to Improvado automatically.

Note: Improvado never sees your Attio password — only the access token Attio issues after you approve the connection.

API Key

Sign in to your Attio workspace.

Generate an access token by following Attio's official guide: Generating an API key. Make sure to grant the scopes needed for the report types you plan to extract (records, lists, notes, tasks, etc.).

Copy the generated access token.

Back in Improvado, on the Attio tile, select the API Key authentication option, paste your token into the API Key field, and click Connect.

After the connection process is completed successfully, the Attio connection will appear in your Connected sources list.

Step 5. When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows your workspace, you can move on to data extraction.

To extract data from the connected sources, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
