Spark.re
Description
Spark is a sales, marketing and customer relationship management platform built for new-development and pre-sale real estate, used by developers, marketing firms and brokerages.
Setup guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Spark.re to Improvado.
Create a Spark API key for the API Key field:
Sign in to Spark and open Settings → API.
Create the key at the level you want to connect:
- Company-level key - one connection for your whole company, with every Spark project as an account. Give the key read permission for Company and Projects.
- Project-level key - one connection for one project. Give the key read permission for Projects, and create one key per project you want to connect.
Also give the key read permission for each resource you plan to extract, such as Contacts, Interactions or Contracts, then copy the key.
If you don't have access to Spark settings, ask your company's Spark contact for an API key with these permissions.
Back in Improvado, paste the key into the API Key field.
After completing the connection process, the Spark.re connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction. Each account is a Spark project.
To extract data from the connected sources, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction. In the Resource setting of the extraction, pick the Spark resource to extract, then select its fields.
Schema information
The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from Spark.re.
Limits
- The API key needs read permission for each resource you extract. Without it, the extraction fails with an error that names the missing permission. Add the permission to the key in Spark under Settings → API.
- Each extraction reads one Spark resource, picked in the Resource setting, and the setting cannot be changed after the extraction is set up. To extract several resources, set up one extraction per resource.
- Spark returns money values, such as prices, deposits and commissions, in cents. Divide them by 100 for two-decimal currencies.
- Some fields come only with a record's full details in Spark: custom fields, available for Contacts, Contracts, Inventory and Brokerages, and details such as a contact's rating, brokerage or registration date in the project. Selecting any of them makes the extraction read each record separately, so the first load of a large resource takes longer.
Release notes
Spark does not publish an API changelog. Product changes are announced in Spark product updates, and the current API reference is the official Spark API documentation.
