Ramp
Description
Ramp is a corporate card and spend-management platform. It issues physical and virtual cards, captures every transaction with its merchant detail, and holds the users and entities the spend is booked against.
Connecting Ramp to Improvado brings that spend into the same warehouse as your marketing data, so vendor and tool costs booked on Ramp cards can be reported next to the campaigns and channels they belong to, rather than reconciled by hand at the end of the month.
Setup guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Ramp to Improvado.
Click the Connections in the left navigation bar.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Click on the Ramp tile.
Authorize your Ramp account using the fields below:
- Organization Name — a label of your choice for this connection.
- Client ID
- Client Secret
In your Ramp account, go to Company → Developer. You need admin access in Ramp to see it.
Create a developer app.
Under Scopes, click Configure allowed scopes and select all four of the scopes Improvado reads with:
transactions:readcards:readentities:readusers:read
Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and enter them into the Improvado authorization form.

After completing the connection process, the Ramp connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
To extract data from the connected sources, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
