Plausible Analytics
Description
Plausible Analytics is a lightweight, privacy-focused web analytics platform that reports website traffic without cookies or personal data. Improvado connects to the Plausible Stats API to extract daily website traffic metrics — visitors, visits, pageviews, bounce rate, visit duration, views per visit, and events — and delivers them to your data warehouse or BI tool.
Setup guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Plausible Analytics to Improvado.
Click the Connections in the left navigation bar.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Click on the Plausible Analytics tile.
Get your Stats API key from Plausible Analytics by following steps 3.1-3.3:
Log in to your Plausible Analytics account.

Click New API Key, then copy the generated key.
Authorize your Plausible Analytics account in Improvado by entering the following:
- The Stats API key you copied.
- The Site ID — your site domain exactly as it appears in Plausible Analytics.
- The Base URL — use https://plausible.io for Plausible Cloud, or your self-hosted instance URL.
After completing the connection process, the Plausible Analytics connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
