Description
Plausible is a lightweight, open-source, privacy-focused web analytics platform that measures website traffic without cookies or personal data. It is available as a hosted cloud service and as a self-hosted Community Edition.
Setup guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Plausible to Improvado.
Click the Connections in the left navigation bar.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Click on the Plausible tile.
Get your Stats API key from Plausible by following steps 3.1-3.3:
Log in to your Plausible account.
Go to Account Settings and open the API Keys section.
Click New API Key, then copy the generated key.
Authorize your Plausible account in Improvado by entering the following:
- The Organization Name — any label for this connection (shown in the UI).
- The Site IDs — your site domains exactly as they appear in Plausible, comma-separated (for example, example.com, blog.example.com).
- The Plausible URL — use https://plausible.io for Plausible Cloud, or your self-hosted instance URL.
- The Stats API key you copied.
After completing the connection process, the Plausible connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
To extract data from the connected sources, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
