Description

Hootsuite is a social media management platform for scheduling posts, managing multiple social profiles, and measuring social performance across networks such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.

Follow our setup guide to connect Hootsuite to Improvado.

Step 1. Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.

Step 2. Click on the Hootsuite tile.

Step 3. Choose the access level you want to grant:

• Read Only — access to your social profiles and published messages.
• Read + Analytics — everything in Read Only, plus post and profile analytics. This option requires a Hootsuite plan with Advanced Analytics.
• Custom — pick the individual permissions you want to grant.

Note: Post and profile analytics are available only to Hootsuite organizations with Advanced Analytics. If you connect with Read Only, the analytics reports will not return data — choose Read + Analytics, or add the analytics permission under Custom.

Step 4. In the pop-up window, sign in to your Hootsuite account and authorize the Improvado application.

Step 5. After the connection process is completed successfully, the Hootsuite connection will appear in your Connected sources list. When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.

Step 6. To extract data from the connected sources, check the instruction on how to set up data extraction.
