ElevenLabs is an AI audio platform for text to speech, speech to speech, dubbing, and conversational voice agents.
Setup guide
Follow this setup guide to connect ElevenLabs to Improvado.
Click the Connections in the left navigation bar.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Click on the ElevenLabs tile.
Create an API key in ElevenLabs (see the official guide):
Sign in to ElevenLabs and switch to the workspace you want to extract. A key belongs to the workspace it is created in.
Click Developers in the left sidebar, open the API Keys tab, and create a new key.
New keys are restricted. Allow read access to User and History, and do not limit the key to IP addresses.
Copy the key. ElevenLabs shows it in full only once.
In a multi-seat workspace, an admin can instead create a key for a service account under Workspace settings → Service Accounts. Service account keys do not expire and keep working when members leave the workspace.
Back in Improvado, paste the key into the API Key field.
Click Connect. After the connection completes successfully, the ElevenLabs connection appears in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active and the account status column shows the key owner, you can move on to data extraction.
To extract data from the connected source, follow the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
Schema information
The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from ElevenLabs.
Limits
Only the key owner's generations. The history includes the audio generated by the user or service account that owns the API key. To extract another member's generations, connect that member's key.
One workspace per key. A key works only in the workspace it was created in. If you belong to several workspaces, connect a key from each.
No music or sound effects. ElevenLabs does not return music and sound effect generations through its API.
No data residency workspaces. Workspaces in the EU, India, or Singapore isolated environments of ElevenLabs Enterprise cannot be connected.
Expiring keys. A personal key with an expiry stops working when it lapses. Reconnect with a new key, or use a key that never expires.
