Asana
Description
Asana is a project management and team collaboration platform. Teams use Asana to organize, track, and manage work across projects, tasks, sections, portfolios, and goals.
Setup guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Asana to Improvado.
Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Click on the Asana tile.
Choose authorization option:
Select OAuth (recommended) and click Connect. Before authorization, make sure you are signed in to the Asana account you want to extract data from. A popup window opens at app.asana.com. Sign in if needed. Review the requested permissions and click Allow. The popup closes and you are returned to Improvado. Note: Improvado requests read-only scopes by default. Switch to Read & Write in the authorization form if you plan to use Reverse ETL.OAuth (recommended)
In a new tab, open the Asana Developer Console. Click Create new token, give it a descriptive name (for example, Improvado), and accept the developer terms. Copy the generated token immediately — it is shown only once. Paste the token into the API Key field on the Improvado authorization form and click Connect.Personal Access Token
After the connection process is completed, the Asana connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts (workspaces), you can move on to data extraction.
To extract data from the connected sources, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
