Follow our setup guide to connect Adobe Experience Platform to Improvado.

Prerequisites

  • Organizations must have access to the Adobe Experience Platform.
  • An Admin Console administrator that is able to add you as a developer and a user for a product profile.
  • An Experience Platform system administrator who can grant you the necessary attribute based access controls to perform read or write operations on different parts of Experience Platform through APIs.

Where to find the required credentials

Follow the steps below to get all the required credentials for configuration:

  • Go to Adobe Developer Console and create a new project or select an existing one.
  • Select Add API on the Project Overview screen
  • Select the product icon for Adobe Experience Platform, then choose Experience Platform API before selecting Next.
  • Select the OAuth Server-to-Server authentication type
  • In the Configure API screen, select AEP-Default-All-Users
  • Select the Save configured API button in the bottom-right corner.
  • Copy Client ID, Client Secret, and Organization ID values from the OAuth Server-to-Server section.
  • In the Experience Platform UI, select Sandboxes in the left navigation and then select Browse to open the Sandboxes dashboard. Copy the Sandbox Name (not title!).

Complete configuration

On the Adobe Experience Platform connection page, fill in the following fields:

  1. Enter a name for your Destination connection in the Title.
  2. Enter the Client ID.
  3. Enter the Client Secret.
  4. Enter the Organization ID.
  5. Enter the Sandbox Name.
  6. Select the necessary Use binary strings option from the dropdown.
