Talkwalker
Description
Talkwalker is a social listening and consumer intelligence platform. It tracks what is being said about a brand, a product or a topic across news sites, blogs, forums, message boards and social networks, and turns those mentions into sentiment, reach and engagement analytics.
Setup guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Talkwalker to Improvado.
Click the Connections in the left navigation bar.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Click on the Talkwalker tile.
Generate a Talkwalker API access token:
Sign in to your Talkwalker account.
Open Account settings → API / Developer.
Create a new API application, or open an existing one.
Generate an access token and copy it. Read access is enough for Improvado.
Back in Improvado, enter a Connection Name of your choice, paste the token into the Access token field, then click Connect.
After the connection is completed, the Talkwalker connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction. Each Talkwalker project your token can reach appears as a separate account, so you choose which projects to extract.

Schema information
The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from Talkwalker.
Limits
Talkwalker API access is a paid add-on and is licensed separately from a Talkwalker platform seat. Your Talkwalker plan also determines how much data can be pulled through the API, so a very deep historical backfill may need to be agreed with your Talkwalker account manager first.
Release notes
Talkwalker does not publish a separate API changelog. The latest state of the API is always reflected in the Talkwalker Developer documentation, which the Talkwalker team keeps up to date.
