Description

Triple Whale is an attribution and analytics platform for Shopify-based DTC and e-commerce brands. It unifies data from ad platforms, Shopify, email/SMS tools and other sources into a single view of a merchant's performance.

Setup guide

Follow our setup guide to connect Triple Whale to Improvado.

Step 1. Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page. Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.

Step 2. Click on the Triple Whale tile.

Step 3. Fill in the authorization form with your Shop Domain and API Key.

Note: You can get your Triple Whale API credentials by following these steps:

Step 3.1. Log in to the Triple Whale app under the account you want to connect.

Step 3.2. In the Triple Whale UI open Settings → API Keys and follow the official instructions to generate a new personal API key. Copy the key immediately — it is shown only once.

Step 3.3. Paste your Shopify shop domain (including the .myshopify.com suffix) into the Shop Domain field, paste the API key into the API Key field, and submit the form.

Step 4. After completing the connection process, the Triple Whale connection will appear in your Connected sources list.

Step 5. When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.

Step 6. To extract data from the connected source, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
