Description
Mailchimp Transactional Email (formerly Mandrill) is a transactional email service for sending automated, one-to-one messages such as order confirmations, password resets, and shipping notifications. Improvado extracts account-level data from Mailchimp Transactional via its API.
Setup guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Mailchimp Transactional Email to Improvado.
Prerequisite. Mailchimp Transactional (formerly Mandrill) requires a Mailchimp Standard or Premium account.
In Mailchimp Transactional (mandrillapp.com), open the Settings page, click + New API Key, add a description, and click Create API Key. Copy the generated key.
Click Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
Click on the Mailchimp Transactional Email tile.
Paste your API Key to authorize the connection.
After the connection process completes successfully, the connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
