Data Governance: See Who's on a Violation and What's New

October 2, 2026 Two changes help your team handle data governance violations without stepping on each other or re-reading old alerts.
Working on it
- Show who is fixing it. On the Data Governance Dashboard, mark a violation as Working on it. The row stays visible and shows who picked it up and since when.
- Track what's in progress. The In progress tab lists everything your team has picked up. Release a violation when you are done, or undo a misclick.
- Work in bulk. Select several violations and mark or release them at once.
New violations in digest emails
- NEW badge. Violations that were not in the previous digest are marked NEW and listed first.
- Counts at a glance. Each rule shows how many violations are new and how many are in progress, and the summary adds New Violations and Critical Violations.
- Who's on it. A Working On It column shows who picked each violation up.
