Coupler.io is a good way to pull ad and analytics data into Google Sheets or Looker Studio. It gets harder when the list of accounts, clients and brands keeps growing. The main Coupler.io alternatives are Improvado for governed data in your own warehouse, Supermetrics for teams that want to stay in spreadsheets, Funnel for a hosted marketing data hub, Fivetran and Adverity for data teams, and Windsor.ai for a low-cost start.
This guide is for marketing ops leads, analysts and agencies. You probably manage many ad accounts now, maybe several clients or brands, and a report nobody trusts until someone checks it by hand. Below we compare six tools on how they charge, where they send your data, and who each one fits.

Is Coupler.io still enough for you?
Coupler.io charges by connected account and gates refresh speed by plan. Those two facts decide when it stops fitting. Here is what its pricing page lists today:
- Free: $0, 1 account, 100 rows per run, manual refresh.
- Starter: $32 a month, or $24 billed annually. 3 accounts, 1 destination, 5,000 rows per run, daily refresh.
- Active: $132 a month, or $99 billed annually. 15 accounts, 3 destinations, daily refresh.
- Pro: $259 a month, or $199 billed annually. 50 accounts, unlimited destinations, hourly refresh.
- Agency and Enterprise: custom pricing. Enterprise refreshes every 15 minutes. Extra accounts cost $4.49 to $5.99 each.
Stay on Coupler.io if
- You connect a handful of ad and analytics accounts.
- A daily refresh is fast enough for the people reading your reports.
- Your reports live in Google Sheets, Excel or Looker Studio, and one person owns them.
- Nobody needs to join marketing data with CRM or finance data.
Look for an alternative if
- You manage more than 50 accounts, so you pay for extra accounts on top of Pro.
- You need fresher data than daily but do not want the Pro or Enterprise price.
- Several clients or brands need the same metric definitions, and each sheet counts them a little differently.
- You want full history in a warehouse, with access control, instead of a set of spreadsheets.
- You want to ask questions of your data in Claude or ChatGPT without giving each person raw access to every platform.

Why teams move off Coupler.io
Most teams do not leave because Coupler.io breaks. They leave because the work around it grows.
The bill follows your account count
Coupler.io prices by connected account. An agency with 20 clients on three ad platforms already has 60 accounts. That is past the 50 accounts in Pro, so ten more accounts are billed on top, at $4.49 to $5.99 each. Every new client adds to the bill, even when the reports stay the same.
Fresh data costs a plan jump
Starter and Active refresh once a day. Hourly refresh starts on Pro, and 15-minute refresh is an Enterprise feature. If a team checks spend during the day, the plan choice is made by refresh speed, not by need.
Spreadsheets become the database
Starter moves up to 5,000 rows per run, and the Free plan 100. Teams on bigger plans still end up with dozens of sheets that each hold a slice of the truth. Each sheet has its own formulas, so two reports can show two numbers for the same campaign.
Nobody owns the definitions
Coupler.io can filter, aggregate, append and join data. It does not decide what a conversion means across Google Ads, Meta and your CRM. When several clients or brands share one team, that decision needs one home. Otherwise every analyst makes it again in their own sheet.
1. Improvado
Best for: teams with many sources, clients or brands that want one governed copy of their marketing data in their own warehouse.
What it does: Improvado pulls data from ad, analytics, CRM and sales platforms. It maps naming and metrics into one model, so a conversion means the same thing in every report. The data lands in your own warehouse, such as BigQuery or Snowflake, and your BI tools read it from there. An MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT query that governed data through one endpoint, instead of each person connecting their own accounts. Creative data is tagged automatically, so you can compare ads by what is in them.
Pricing: Improvado publishes a Free plan at $0 a month and an MCP Only plan at $100 a month. Larger plans are quoted. See Improvado pricing.
Where it falls short: it is more platform than a team with three ad accounts and one sheet needs. Larger plans are not priced on the website, so you talk to sales first.

2. Supermetrics
Best for: marketers who want to keep reporting in Google Sheets or Looker Studio.
What it does: Supermetrics moves marketing data into spreadsheets, BI tools and, on its top plan, a data warehouse. It offers a free 14-day trial of any connector or destination.
Pricing: priced per data source. Starter is €49 a month, or €39 billed annually, for 1 user and 3 data sources. Its pricing page says it does not use a credit or point system.
Where it falls short: transfer to BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift is on the Enterprise plan only. If a warehouse is your reason to leave Coupler.io, price Enterprise from the start. For a full list, see our Supermetrics alternatives.
3. Funnel
Best for: marketing teams that want a hosted data hub with business logic kept in one place.
What it does: Funnel collects marketing data, lets you define business rules and targets, and sends the result to reporting and storage tools. Its Starter plan includes 117 connectors and 13 destinations.
Pricing: a flat subscription billed annually. Starter is $300 a month, according to the Funnel pricing page. The Business plan lists 579 connectors, and Enterprise more than 600.
Where it falls short: the entry price is about ten times Coupler.io Starter. The Snowflake destination sits on Enterprise. Read more in our Funnel.io alternatives guide.
4. Adverity
Best for: larger marketing teams ready for a sales-led setup.
What it does: Adverity is a marketing data platform that integrates data from marketing sources for analysis.
Pricing: Adverity does not publish plans. Its pricing page says every client gets a customized quote.
Where it falls short: you cannot compare cost before a sales call. Teams used to Coupler.io's self-serve checkout may find that slow. See our Adverity alternatives for more options.
5. Fivetran
Best for: data teams that already run a warehouse and model data themselves.
What it does: Fivetran moves data from 700+ connectors into your warehouse. You then transform it with model runs.
Pricing: usage-based, by monthly active rows. The free plan covers up to 500,000 monthly active rows and 5,000 model runs a month. After that, model runs cost $0.01 to $0.002 each, per the Fivetran pricing page. Each connection follows its own cost curve.
Where it falls short: it is built for data engineers, not marketers. Your team still decides and builds the marketing metrics. The bill moves with data volume, so it is harder to forecast than a flat plan. More in our Fivetran alternatives guide.
6. Windsor.ai
Best for: small teams that want a cheap step up from manual exports.
What it does: Windsor.ai lists 350+ data sources. It sends data to Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Google Sheets, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks and more.
Pricing: a Free plan with 1 user, 10 data sources, 15 accounts and daily sync. Basic is $23 a month, or $19 billed annually. Standard is $118 a month, or $99 billed annually. Source: Windsor.ai pricing.
Where it falls short: it solves the same problem as Coupler.io at a similar size. If your issue is governance across clients or brands, it moves the problem rather than solving it. See our Windsor.ai alternatives.
Coupler.io vs Funnel vs Supermetrics: what you pay as you grow
Each tool charges for a different thing. That unit decides your bill more than the entry price does.
- Coupler.io charges for accounts. Pro covers 50 accounts at $199 a month billed annually. Every account after that adds $4.49 to $5.99.
- Supermetrics charges for data sources. Starter covers 3 sources with 3 accounts each. A warehouse needs Enterprise.
- Funnel charges a flat plan. Starter is $300 a month billed annually, with 117 connectors. Snowflake needs Enterprise.
- Fivetran charges for rows. The more your data changes, the more you pay.
So count before you compare. Write down your accounts, your sources, your destinations and how fresh the data must be. Then price each tool on those four numbers, not on its cheapest plan.
Can you keep Looker Studio?
Yes. Coupler.io, Supermetrics and Windsor.ai can all feed Looker Studio. With a warehouse setup, Looker Studio reads from BigQuery instead of a sheet. Your dashboards stay, and only their data source changes. That is usually the smallest change you can make for the biggest gain in trust.
Do you need a data warehouse?
You do not need one for a few accounts and one report owner. You likely need one when any of these are true:
- You need history longer than a platform keeps in its own API.
- You want to join ad data with CRM, sales or finance data.
- Several people and tools must use the same numbers.
- You want AI assistants to answer questions from governed data, not from whoever exported last.
How to switch from Coupler.io without breaking reports
- List every data flow. Write down the source, the account, the destination and the schedule for each one.
- List the reports people actually open. Many old sheets have no readers. Do not move them.
- Write down your metric definitions. Agree what a conversion, a lead and a cost mean before you rebuild anything.
- Pick where the data should live. A sheet, a BI tool or your own warehouse.
- Run old and new side by side. Keep both for one full reporting cycle. Compare totals by source and by day.
- Point dashboards at the new source. In Looker Studio, change the data source, not the charts.
- Turn off old flows. Then downgrade or cancel the Coupler.io plan.
The number of flows and reports sets the timeline. Plan for at least one full reporting cycle of parallel running.
