Deprecation TikTok Ads Rolled out

TikTok is retiring its Reservation reporting branch and no longer accepts new access requests for it, so the four TikTok Ads Reservation report types are no longer offered; the Auction reports already return reservation ad data alongside auction data.

Affected
Reservation reports (advertiser, campaign, ad group, ad)
What to do
No action needed — no extracts were using these report types. For reservation ad performance, use the Auction reports, which TikTok now returns both auction and reservation data through.

TikTok is retiring the Reservation branch of its reporting API. Requesting a reservation report now returns a deprecation notice instead of data, and TikTok has stopped accepting new access requests for it — so an advertiser without existing access can no longer gain it.

What this means for your data

Nothing changes in your existing extracts. No TikTok Ads extract in Improvado was using these four report types, so no scheduled update is affected and no historical data is removed.

What replaces it

TikTok's own guidance is to use the Auction report type, which now returns reporting data for both auction and reservation ads in an auction ad account. In Improvado that is already covered by the existing TikTok Ads reports at the advertiser, campaign, ad group and ad levels — no new setup is required.

The four Reservation report types have been removed from the report picker so that a new extract cannot be created against a reporting branch that is going away.
