New report type ServiceTitan logo ServiceTitan Rolled out

A new Marketing Ads Performance report brings ServiceTitan's advertising performance into Improvado, with impressions, clicks, cost and conversions alongside the leads, booked jobs and revenue ServiceTitan attributes to the same campaign, reported at campaign, ad group or keyword level depending on the fields you select.

What to do
No action required. The report needs the Marketing Pro package on the ServiceTitan tenant; add it to an extraction on a tenant that has Marketing Pro, and pick the campaign, ad group or keyword fields you want.

Improvado now offers Marketing Ads Performance on the ServiceTitan connector. It carries both halves of the funnel that usually live in two different systems: the advertising metrics ServiceTitan collects from the ad platform, and the job and revenue outcomes ServiceTitan attributes back to the same campaign.

One report, three levels

The fields you select decide the granularity. Pick campaign fields and you get one row per campaign per period; add ad group fields and the same metrics break down per ad group; add keyword fields and they break down per keyword. The campaign is on every row at every level, and so is the ad group on keyword rows, so nothing has to be joined back.

What you get

  • Advertising performance - impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, all conversions and impression share.
  • Attributed outcomes - leads, lead calls, online and manual bookings, booked, ran and sold jobs, revenue and potential revenue.
  • Entity context - campaign id and name, category, launch date and status, the campaign's identifier in the ad platform it was imported from, and the ad group and keyword names and statuses at the deeper levels. The campaign id joins to the existing Campaigns and Jobs reports.
  • Daily, weekly or monthly periods.

Requires Marketing Pro

Marketing Ads is part of ServiceTitan's Marketing Pro package, and ServiceTitan grants it per tenant. On a tenant without the package the extraction stops with a message naming it, rather than returning an empty report. The same credentials keep working for every other ServiceTitan report. If you run several tenants, expect the report to work on some and not others, and check the package in ServiceTitan rather than the connection in Improvado.

Three things to know

  • Keyword level returns every keyword, not only the active ones. ServiceTitan reports each entity at the selected level with the period's metrics, so a keyword that saw no traffic still arrives as a zero row. That makes keyword-level daily extractions large; weekly or monthly periods carry the same information at a fraction of the rows.
  • At most 5,000 rows per period. Improvado reads each period in one ServiceTitan response of up to 5,000 rows, and every campaign, ad group or keyword comes back for any period, so a shorter period does not lower the count. A tenant with more keywords than that cannot report at keyword level: the extraction stops with a message saying so rather than returning a partial report, and ad group or campaign level still works.
  • Rates and averages are yours to compute. The report carries the totals (cost, clicks, impressions, conversions, leads, jobs, revenue) rather than ServiceTitan's derived CPC, click rate, cost per conversion, booking rate, average ticket and ROI, so the numbers stay correct however you slice or roll them up. Impression share is the exception and is included, because nothing in the data reproduces it; like any share it cannot be summed.
