Profound's YouTube Videos Report V2 is now available. It returns the YouTube videos that AI answers cite most for a category, as a daily most-cited-first ranking — one row per video for each day, tagged with that day's date.
What each row includes
- Video: title, video ID, URL, publish timestamp, YouTube category, and length.
- Channel: channel title, channel handle, and channel URL. The handle is the stable key for channel-level rollups — a channel can rename its title, but the handle is what the channel filter matches on.
- Performance: citation count, citation share (the video's share of that day's YouTube citations), and its rank in the day's ranking.
Settings
- Attribution — count citations that resolve to a YouTube channel (Attributed, the default), those that do not (Unattributed), or both (All).
- Source Types — Video and Short by default; add Channel, Playlist or Other. Other requires Attribution set to All or Unattributed.
- Channel pre-filter — narrow the report to one or more channels by handle.
Attribution and Source Types are locked once the extraction is created: each selects which data the ranking is built from, so changing it later would mix different datasets in one table. Choose a new combination by creating a new extraction.
