What to do
No action required. The Campaign Entity template is global, so the new fields appear automatically once it syncs, and the next extraction populates them. Add the columns you want to an extraction to start collecting them.

The Campaign Entity report now covers every campaign property Pinterest exposes for reading. Six fields were added; nothing was removed, renamed or recalculated, and existing columns keep the values they already hold.

The new fields

  • Intended Promotion Type — how the campaign promotes: standard ads built from Pins, catalog product groups, or the legacy backward-compatibility mode
  • Is Top Of Search — whether the campaign's ads are placed at the top of Pinterest search results
  • Is LTV Optimized — whether the campaign is optimized for lifetime value, available to eligible advertisers
  • Is Carting — whether the campaign contains a where-to-buy link ad
  • Performance Plus Boost Prospecting Ad Group Bid — whether Pinterest Performance+ raises the prospecting ad group bid
  • Performance Plus Pinner List Exclusions — the campaign-level exclusion audience list IDs, as a JSON array

Intended Promotion Type and the new campaign objectives

Pinterest is simplifying campaign objectives. Two objective values, SALES and LEADS, have been added, and CATALOG_SALES and WEB_CONVERSION are now legacy. Under the simplified model the objective alone no longer says what a campaign promotes, so Pinterest introduced Intended Promotion Type to carry that distinction.

The existing Objective Type column needs no change on your side — it passes Pinterest's values through as they are, so SALES and LEADS already arrive in it.

What to expect in the data

Pinterest returns Intended Promotion Type only on campaigns created under the simplified objective model. On older campaigns the field is simply not sent, and the column is empty. The same applies to Is LTV Optimized, Is Carting and the two Performance+ fields: they are populated only where the corresponding feature is in use, and are empty otherwise. An empty value means the setting does not apply to that campaign, not that data is missing.

Pinterest's own deadlines do not affect extraction

Pinterest has published two dates for the objective change: legacy objectives can be used for new campaigns until 1 February 2027, and campaigns still on them are archived on 30 April 2027. Both apply to creating and editing campaigns in Pinterest. Improvado only reads campaign data, so neither date is an extraction deadline, and no migration is required for your reports to keep working.
