A new Ad Image Preview report delivers permanent links to your OpenAI Ads creative images, so they can be displayed in dashboards and creative galleries.

- Affected
- Ad Image Preview report
- What to do
- No action required. Add the Ad Image Preview report to your OpenAI Ads extraction to start receiving creative image links; existing reports are unaffected.
OpenAI Ads creative images could not previously be displayed in a dashboard. The only image address the OpenAI Ads API returns is a temporary one that stops working after ten minutes — so by the time anyone opened a report, the image was already unavailable.
Improvado now saves its own copy of each creative image and delivers a permanent link that does not expire, the same way it already does for Facebook and other ad platforms. This closes the last gap in cross-platform creative galleries: Meta and LinkedIn creatives already displayed from saved copies, while OpenAI had to fall back to a text-only card even though the platform had real images.
What you get
- A permanent link to each creative image
- The ad identifier, so the report joins to the Ads Entity report
- The creative file identifier
Not every ad has an image
Chat-card creatives have their own image. Product-feed creatives are assembled from your product feed instead, so they have no image of their own. Those ads still appear in the report, with an empty image link — that is expected, not a gap in the data.
How it refreshes
The report is a snapshot of your current ads rather than a time series, so it has no date range and is fully refreshed on every run.
