What to do
No action required. Add the new fields to a Page Content extraction to start loading them; existing extractions are unaffected until you add the fields.

The Notion API returns several block types that Improvado's Page Content report did not collect: heading 4 and tab blocks, which Notion added in March 2026, AI meeting notes blocks, and the long-standing code and audio blocks. Each of them is now a field on the Page Content report.

The new fields

  • Audio: an audio file embedded in the page or linked from it, with the file type and its URL.
  • Code: a code block, with its text, caption and programming language.
  • Heading 4: the smallest heading level, with its text, color and whether it is a toggle heading.
  • Tab: a tabbed container. Its value is always an empty object, {}. Each tab is loaded as its own Paragraph row under the tab block: the paragraph text is the tab label, and the tab's content is loaded as that paragraph's child rows.
  • Transcription: a Notion AI meeting notes block, with the meeting title, its status, the calendar event and recording times, and the IDs of the blocks that hold the summary, notes and transcript. Those blocks and their text are loaded as separate rows under the meeting notes block.

Why the field is called Transcription

Notion renamed this block type to meeting_notes in Notion API version 2026-03-11. Improvado uses an earlier API version, where the block is still returned as transcription, so both the field and the block's Type value read "transcription". The content is the same under both names.

Good to know

  • Like the existing block fields, such as Paragraph and Heading 1, each new field holds the block's content as text.
  • Each row is one block, so only the field that matches the block's Type is filled on that row.
  • Page Content loads the current content of the selected pages on every run, so the new fields fill in on the next run after you add them. No re-extraction of earlier dates is needed.

Nothing else changed

This is purely additive. No existing field was renamed or removed, and the Notion API version Improvado uses is unchanged.
