Chargebee's September 2026 API release added brand and network transaction attributes. Seven new fields are now available on the Customers, Subscriptions, Invoices, Credit Notes, Transactions and Payment Sources reports.

- Customers Subscriptions Invoices Credit Notes Transactions Payment Sources
- What to do
- No action required. Add the new fields to a Chargebee extraction to start collecting them; existing extractions are unaffected until you add the fields.
Chargebee's API v2 release of September 24, 2026 added two kinds of attributes to resources Improvado already extracts: the brand a record belongs to, and the network transaction identifiers that card networks assign to payments. Improvado's Chargebee connector now ingests them, so seven new fields are available.
The new fields
- Brand ID on the Customers, Subscriptions, Invoices and Credit Notes reports: the unique ID of the Chargebee brand the record belongs to. The Payment Sources report already has this field.
- Network Transaction ID on the Transactions report: the network transaction identifier returned by the card network or gateway for the transaction.
- Original Network Transaction ID on the Transactions report: for merchant-initiated payments, the original network transaction identifier that the gateway confirmed it used.
- Original Network Transaction ID on the Payment Sources report: the identifier the card network assigned to the original customer-initiated transaction that set up the stored card.
When the fields are filled
- Brand ID is returned only by Chargebee sites that use brands. On other sites the column stays empty.
- Network Transaction ID is filled only when Chargebee has stored a network identifier for the transaction, typically for card payments.
- Both Original Network Transaction ID fields relate to stored-card payments and are filled only when Chargebee holds that identifier.
An empty column on a site that does not use these features is normal API behavior, not a sync problem.
Nothing else changed
This is purely additive. No existing field was renamed, removed or recalculated, the requests Improvado sends to Chargebee are unchanged, and existing extractions keep working as before.
