A new metric, "Bot Product Occurrences", is now available on the Adobe Analytics Reports report. It counts the product string sub-hits that matched your bot rules and were excluded from Adobe Analytics reporting.

- What to do
- No action required. Add Bot Product Occurrences to a Reports extraction to start collecting it; existing extractions are unaffected until you add the field.
In October 2026 Adobe added a Bot product occurrences metric to Adobe Analytics
bot reporting. Improvado's Adobe Analytics connector now ingests it as
metrics/botproductoccurrences, so a new
Bot Product Occurrences metric is available on the
Reports report, next to Bot Occurrences and Bot Page Views.
What's new
- Bot Product Occurrences: the number of product string sub-hits that matched your report suite's bot rules and were excluded from reporting. Bot Occurrences counts the matching hits; this metric counts their product string sub-hits.
Good to know
- Adobe supports this metric only with the Bot Name dimension and time-based dimensions, such as Day, Week and Month. Adobe documents that other dimensions do not return data for it.
- The metric counts only hits matched by bot rules, so it has data only for report suites that have bot rules configured in Adobe Analytics.
Nothing else changed
This is purely additive. No existing field was renamed, removed or recalculated, and existing Reports extractions keep working unchanged.
