Recipes: Write the Whole Transformation in SQL

You can now build a recipe from one SQL query instead of visual steps. If you already know the query, write it directly and preview the result right away.

• A real SQL editor. You get syntax highlighting, autocomplete for tables and columns, and a Format button. Cmd/Ctrl + Enter runs the preview.
• Every table at hand. A panel lists the tables in your workspace. Expand one to see its columns, and click + or drag it into the query.
• One approach per recipe. A recipe uses either visual steps or a single SQL step. The other step types are unavailable, and a tooltip explains why.

Open a recipe, click +, and select SQL query under Custom SQL.
