Use CSV as a data source

Updated on

May 3, 2024

The CSV file must be in the format that can be brought in by our UI. The first three columns in the CSV file need to be:

  1. Date in ```YYYY-MM-DD``` format
  2. Provider (eg. ```Amazon```)
  3. Campaign Name

The metrics/column names in the rest of the file need to match how they are names in the report itself. You can find this in ‘Define Metrics’ button in the top right of the report. The datas in these columns need to be numeric (numbers only) and not strings (letters or a combination of letters and numbers).

The correctly formatted spreadsheet can then be uploaded to Improvado by going to Edit data sources in the top right corner.

Scroll down the various data sources you can add to a report and click on CSV import button.

You can then drag the CSV file or upload it here.
