Requirements

• Your file must be a standard Google Spreadsheet
• Access to the file must be granted to reports@improvado.io and support@improvado.io
• The file must contain up to 100 000 rows of data.

How to Set Up a Google Spreadsheet Integration?

Step 1. Create a New Flat Data Ingestion request using Improvado Service Desk:

• provide us with the required details about this integration by filling out all the request fields
• make sure you have attached an example of the data table you want to see
• indicate the update logic you want for your table:
  - append (new data rows are added to the end of the table)
  - incremental (records get modified, but the old data is saved too)
  - snapshot (overwriting of all the data each time).

Step 2. Get a confirmation from Improvado whether we can ingest your data or instructions on what needs to be changed in order to make it possible.

IMPORTANT: ‍

• After the integration is set up, field name/order, header, and data type changes are available. Submit a Change Flat Data Ingestion request via Improvado Service Desk to inform us about your needed changes.
• Adding a new column to an existing integration is not available. You must submit a New Flat Data Integration request to ingest a file with additional columns.
