Twitter - Troubleshooting

While configuring your Twitter connection, you may encounter several issues. Understanding these common errors can help streamline the setup process and facilitate quick resolutions.

Data Discrepancy

Missing data in “Promoted Tweets“ report type

Twitter API currently does not yet support PROMOTED_TWEET entity with segmentation for conversion data.

Mismatch of metrics values

The values of some metrics may differ due to "by-design" differences between levels in the API. For example, it is worth noting the difference between the ```Conversion Purchases Metric``` at the Ad level and at the Campaign level.

Wrong permissions

{%docs-informer error%} Not enough permissions to get tweets. Please, make sure you have at least Ad Manager permission level or contact Improvado support via Service Desk. {%docs-informer-end%}

Make sure to use your Ad Account and not your personal Twitter account. Please note that your Ad Account must have at least one test ad running.

You can follow this instruction to create and set up your Twitter Ad Account correctly.
