TikTok is a video platform that allows users to create and share short videos. TikTok Ads is a platform that will help you to advertise your services and products on the TikTok app.
The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from TikTok Ads.
Follow our setup guide to connect TikTok Ads to Improvado.
Click the Data Sources in the left navigation bar. Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Click on the TikTok Ads tile.
Authorize your TikTok for Business account via OAuth. Before authorization, please, make sure that you are signed in to the account you want to extract data from.
Grant Improvado your permission to:
Public User Information
Read the public information of your login account, such as your name and email.
Ad Account Management
Manage your ad account information and sign some online terms for advertising purposes. Specifically, authorization is at the user level, which means that when you gain access to a new ad account, the app will also automatically gain access to the new advertising account. Similarly, when you no longer have permission to access an ad account, the app will also not be able to access it.
Read and manage ads. Please note that no matter what kind of permission you select here, the actual operations that the app can perform for some ad accounts might be limited, depending on the access settings of your role.
Get the performance data of your ads.
Create and update your promotional apps on Events Manager.
Create and update your pixels on Events Manager.
Note: All required permissions are mandatory. If you limit any permission - it could cause connection errors!
