Description

‍Reddit is a network of communities where people can dive into their interests, hobbies, and passions.

The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from Reddit.

Follow our setup guide to connect Reddit to Improvado.

Step 1. Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.

Step 2. Click on the Reddit tile.

Step 3. Authorize your Reddit account via OAuth. Before authorization, please, ensure you are signed into the account you want to extract data from.

Improvado has only two report types that use Reddit API v2:

• adgroups_metro
• ads

If you want to use these reports, you need to be whitelisted to access the Reddit Ads API.

Step 4. Grant Improvado your permission to:

• Read advertising data through my account.
• Access my Reddit username and signup date.
• Access my voting history and comments or submissions I've saved or hidden.

Step 5. After completing the connection process, the Reddit connection will appear in your Connected sources list.

Step 6. When the connection status is Active and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
