‍Sprout Social is a powerful solution for social media management.

The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from Sprout Social.

Follow our setup guide to connect Sprout Social to Improvado.

Step 1Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.

Step 2Click on the Sprout Social tile.

Step 3Authorize your Sprout Social account using your API Access Token.

Note: Your account must be provisioned for API use by your Sprout account representative. Then, you must obtain your API Access Token by following the official guide.

Step 4Grant Improvado your permission to:

Special TOS for Twitter The X/Twitter platform requires additional license confirmation from client side to make it available via API. Twitter has additional review and compliance requirements around exposing data through the API. You’re required to undergo a brief review and approval process before you can access Twitter's data through the Sprout API.

Step 5After completing the connection process, the Sprout Social connection will appear in your Connected sources list.

Step 6When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
