Providing Credentials by Request in Improvado

You’ve received this email because a trusted partner or colleague needs your help to connect a data source (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, GA4) to Improvado, a platform they use for data analysis and reporting.

This link allows you to grant access to specific data securely without sharing your login details. Rest assured:

  • The sender cannot see your passwords or personal information.
  • You control exactly which credentials or data are shared (where supported by the platform).
  • Improvado never stores your raw credentials—only encrypted access tokens.

You’ll see the email address of the person requesting access. Double-check this email to ensure it’s from someone you trust.

Follow these steps to securely authorize access to your data:

Step 1: Open the Authorization Link

Click the link in the email you received. This will open a secure Improvado authorization window in your browser.

The link expires after 14 days or once it is used. If it has expired, ask the sender to generate a new one.

Step 2: Verify the Request Details

The authorisation window will specify the platform (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads) whose credentials the requester needs.

Step 3: Follow the Setup Guide

Use the instructions on the right side of the screen to complete the authorization.

  • Limited Permissions: The sender can only extract data for reporting. They cannot edit settings, spend budgets, or manage your accounts.
  • Security First: Improvado adheres to SOC2 compliance and encrypts all data transfers.

Q: Who sent this request?

A: The email address of the requester is included in the email and authorization form. Confirm you know and trust them before proceeding.

Q: Can the sender see my login details?

A: Improvado will only use your email, username or similar information as identification for the connection. Improvado only shares encrypted tokens, never usernames, passwords, or personal data.

Q: How can I revoke access to shared credentials?

A: You can revoke access via your platform’s settings any time. Or you can ask Improvado user to disconnect the source directly in Improvado.
