Pinterest Ads

Description

‍Pinterest Ads is a cost-per-click advertising tool that helps business owners drive traffic to their website by paying to appear in Pinterest's Promoted Pins.This connector is a complete solution to integrate your Pinterest account to the rest of your marketing campaigns.

The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from Pinterest Ads.

Setup guide

Follow our setup guide to connect Pinterest Ads to Improvado.

  1. Click the Data Sources in the left navigation bar.
    Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
  2. Click on the Pinterest Ads tile
  1. Authorize your Pinterest account via OAuth. Before authorization, please, make sure that you are signed in to the account you want to extract data from.
  1. Grant Improvado your permission to:

See all your boards Including secret boards and group boards you join
Create new Pins and boards for you

  1. After the connection process is completed successfully, the Pinterest Ads connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
  2. When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
  1. To extract data from the connected sources, check the instruction on how to set up data extraction.

Settings

Attribution window combinations

If you select Promoted pins extraction template for data extraction, make sure you've set attribution window values according to the instruction below in order for your data to extract correctly:

At Step 3, in the Configure extraction template section, select one of the following combinations for attribution windows:

Note: Default is 30 days after click, 30 days after engagement, and 1 day after viewing your ad.

For example, if you set Click Attribution Window Pinterest Ads =  “30 Days” and Engagement Attribution Window Pinterest Ads = “1 Day”, the only option for View Attribution Window Pinterest Ads has to be “1 Day”.
