How to use Bulk Actions

Overview

The Bulk Actions feature allows users to perform actions with multiple items in tables (e.g., Extraction orders in the Data table page, Extraction orders in the Connections Details page).

How does it work?

To open the Bulk Actions menu, select any number of items in the table:

The Bulk Actions menu consists of:

• Number of selected items for which any chosen action will apply
• The list of available actions for selected items
  • Please note that depending on your access level, some actions may be disabled for you. Learn more here: User roles.

Bulk actions from the AI Agent and MCP

You can also run bulk actions on extraction orders by asking the AI Agent or any AI client connected through Improvado MCP. Describe which extraction orders you need — for example, by ID or by data table, optionally filtered by status or title — and what to do with them:

• Run, pause or unpause all of them in one request.
• Edit settings for all of them at once. Before the change, the agent can show which settings the selected orders share and which differ, so you can check the selection first.
• Check the result. A bulk action runs as one task; ask the agent for its status to see whether it succeeded, failed or finished with errors.

The same user role permissions apply as in the interface: running, pausing and editing require permission to update extraction orders.
