Description

Google Campaign Manager integrates with other solutions, allowing you to get insights across campaigns that you can use to optimize your media strategy and creative.

Differences between Google Campaign Manager by Profile and Google Campaign Manager by Advertiser integrations

Google Campaign Manager platform has a complicated hierarchy of accounts:

  • Inside your account, you have different accounts of GCM customers.
  • Google Campaign Manager customers have multiple advertisers.
  • And for sharing purposes there are user profiles that have access to a limited set of Google Campaign Manager customers. User profiles can be associated with your account so you have access to a number of Google Campaign Manager customers.

We have 2 types of Google Campaign Manager integrations:

  • Google Campaign Manager (by Advertiser) - we use all advertisers from each of your DCM customers.
  • Google Campaign Manager (by Profile) - we use every user profile associated with your account.

You can choose the most convenient integration. There are pros and cons for each:

Google Campaign Manager (by Advertiser) Google Campaign Manager (by Profile)
Pros: Cons: Pros: Cons:
Large amount of Report types (31) For some GCM customers that have a really large amount of advertisers, the total time for extraction takes a while (due to rate limits) No restrictions about user profiles/GCM customers. Can extract everything. Limited set of report types (3)
A lot of configuration possibilities - you can extract only needed advertisers. Much faster for large GCM customers
