Universal Ads is a programmatic advertising platform that enables brands to run, manage, and measure digital advertising campaigns. It supports multi-level account management through Organizations and Ad Accounts, with detailed reporting at the campaign, ad set, and ad levels.
Follow our setup guide to connect Universal Ads to Improvado.
Step 1. Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
Step 2. Click on the Universal Ads tile.
Step 3. Click Authorize to connect your Universal Ads account via OAuth. You will be redirected to Universal Ads to complete the authorization.
Step 4. On the Universal Ads authorization page, select the organizations you want to grant Improvado access to, then confirm the authorization.
When prompted, make sure to grant the Ad read-only permission scope, which includes: Adaccount:read, Campaign:read, Creative:read, Report:read, Report:create, Media:read, Custom Segment:read, Pixel:read.
Note: Improvado only uses read permissions and does not perform any edit, create, or delete operations on your Universal Ads data.
Step 5. After completing the authorization, you will be redirected back to Improvado. The Universal Ads connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
Step 6. When the connection status is Active and the account status column shows a number of ad accounts, you can proceed to data extraction.
Step 7. To extract data from the connected sources, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
