Square platform provides a robust set of tools that allow businesses to seamlessly integrate Square’s payment processing, inventory, and customer management solutions into their applications.
Setup guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Square to Improvado.
Click the Make a new connection button on the Connections page and select Square in the Data sources catalog.
Click on the Square tile.
To authorize your account, you need to fill in your Production Access token by following steps 3.1 - 3.5:
Navigate to the Square Developer Platform
Select Developer Dashboard
Select the required app or create a new one
In the left pane, choose Credentials
Get your production or Sandbox access token:
- At the top of the page, choose Production.
- In the Production Access token box, choose Show and copy your token.
After completing the connection process, the Square connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
To extract data from the connected sources, check the instructions on how to set up data extraction.
