Description

‍‍Instagram Stories and Mentions brings the ability to see the number of people who have viewed a specific Instagram Story and the number of people who have seen your Instagram profile through Instagram Mentions.

The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from Instagram Stories and Mentions.

{%docs-informer warning%} To connect Instagram Stories and Mentions, you need an Instagram Professional Account (Business or Creator) linked with a Facebook Page along with the permissions to access data from the accounts you'd like to sync. {%docs-informer-end%}

Follow our setup guide to connect Instagram Stories and Mentions to Improvado.

1. Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
   Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
2. Click on the Instagram Stories and Mentions tile.

3. Authorize your Facebook account via OAuth. Before authorization, please, make sure that you are signed in to the account you want to extract data from.

4. Choose the Businesses/Pages/Accounts you want Improvado to access:

Note: All required permissions are mandatory. If you limit any permission - it could cause connection errors!

6. After the connection is completed, the Instagram Stories and Mentions connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
7. When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
