Instagram Stories and Mentions

Description

‍‍Instagram Stories and Mentions brings the ability to see the number of people who have viewed a specific Instagram Story and the number of people who have seen your Instagram profile through Instagram Mentions.

Setup guide

Warning
To connect Instagram Stories and Mentions, you need an Instagram Professional Account (Business or Creator) linked with a Facebook Page along with the permissions to access data from the accounts you'd like to sync.

Follow our setup guide to connect Instagram Stories and Mentions to Improvado.

  1. Click the Make a new Connection on the Connections page.
    Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.
  2. Click on the Instagram Stories and Mentions tile.
  1. Authorize your Facebook account via OAuth. Before authorization, please, make sure that you are signed in to the account you want to extract data from.

Note
To extract data from Instagram Stories and Mentiones you must have Admin-level access to connected Facebook Pages.

  1. Choose the Businesses/Pages/Accounts you want Improvado to access:

Opt in to all current and future PagesThis gives Improvado access to your current Pages, in addition to any Page you create in the future.
Opt in to all current and future Instagram AccountsThis gives Improvado access to your current Instagram Accounts, in addition to any Instagram Account you create in the future.
  1. Grant Improvado your permission to:

Note: All required permissions are mandatory. If you limit any permission - it could cause connection errors!

  1. After the connection is completed, the Instagram Stories and Mentions connection will appear in your Connected sources list.
  2. When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.
