Description

HubSpot is an inbound marketing and sales software that includes a marketing automation platform, a repository for managing leads generated from campaigns, and an ad-tracking component for social media engagement monitoring.

The schema information shows all report types you can use to extract data from HubSpot.

Setup guide

Follow our setup guide to connect HubSpot to Improvado.

Step 1. Click the Data Sources in the left navigation bar.
Categories on the Data sources page group all available platforms. Use a search to find the required one.

Step 2. Click on the HubSpot tile.

Step 3. To authorize your HubSpot account follow steps 3.1 - 3.3:

Step 3.1. In HubSpot Account Settings, click on the Account tab.

Step 3.2. Enable App Marketplace Access permission for the account so that you can install apps from the HubSpot Marketplace and third-party websites.

Note: This permission is automatically included with super admin permissions.

Step 3.3. Authorize your HubSpot account via OAuth on the HubSpot authorization page. Before authorization, please, make sure that you are signed in to the account you want to extract data from.

Step 4. Grant Improvado your permission to:

Basic HubSpot account information This includes your user email address and the account's primary domain
View and manage your CRM data View properties and other details about contacts
View details about quotes and quote templates
View properties and other details about line items
View details about deals
View details about line items
View details about users assigned to a CRM record
View details about marketing events
View details about custom object definitions in the CRM
View details about submissions to any of your feedback surveys
View properties and other details about companies
View details about contact lists
View properties and other details about deals
View details about property settings for contacts
View properties and other details about quotes and quote templates
View details about property settings for companies
Content This includes sites, landing pages, CTA, email, blog, campaigns
Read from Business Intelligence API This includes endpoints that sit on top of sources and email
Forms This includes access to the Forms API
Access to integrations sync features This exposes the sync API, which allows syncing of most CRM objects
Read one-to-one emails Grants access to read all details of one-to-one emails sent to contacts

Step 5. After the connection is completed, the HubSpot connection will appear in your Connected sources list.

Step 6. When the connection status is Active, and the account status column shows a number of accounts, you can move on to data extraction.

Step 7. To extract data from the connected sources, check the instruction on how to set up data extraction.
