The Heatmap widget visualizes metric intensity across dimension values using a color gradient — making it easy to spot top and bottom performers at a glance. The use cases below show how to add and use it.
Display a color-coded grid where cell intensity reflects metric values across dimension rows.
Result: The heatmap renders a grid of colored cells. Higher values appear greener (high-end color), lower values appear redder (low-end color), and zero-value cost cells appear grey.
Read metric intensity from cell colors and click cells to cross-filter other widgets on the dashboard.
Result: Cell clicks apply a cross-widget filter across the dashboard. This makes the heatmap useful for drilling into specific campaigns, channels, or other dimension values.
Note: The cross-widget filter only affects other widgets that share the same data source. If no other widgets are present, the interaction bar still appears but has no visible effect on the dashboard.
