Funnel Widget

Updated on

Apr 29, 2026

The Funnel widget displays multi-stage conversion data — each selected metric becomes one stage, arranged to show how values decrease through the funnel. The use cases below show how to build and configure it.

Build your funnel

1. Add a Funnel widget to your dashboard

Visualize a top-to-bottom conversion flow using multiple metrics as stages.

  1. Open your dashboard in edit mode.
  2. Click Select a default data table in the header and choose your data source (e.g. cross_channel_automated_recipe).
  3. Click + Funnel in the bottom toolbar. The widget appears on the canvas and the Properties Panel opens automatically.
  4. In the Data section, select multiple metrics to define funnel stages (e.g. Spend, Clicks, Impressions).
  5. Close the Properties Panel to see the finished widget.

Result: The funnel renders stages in the order metrics were selected. The default title is Conversion Funnel.

2. Select funnel stage metrics

Choose and order the metrics that define each step of the conversion funnel.

  1. Open the Data section in the Properties Panel.
  2. Select metrics that form natural funnel stages, for example: ImpressionsClicksConversions.

Result: Each metric becomes one stage with its aggregated value displayed. Conversion rates between consecutive stages appear between each step.

Tip: Add metrics in top-of-funnel to bottom-of-funnel order for the most meaningful progression.

Configure the layout

3. Change orientation, style, and size

Adjust the funnel's direction, density, and scale to fit the space available on your dashboard.

  1. Open the Basics section in the Properties Panel.
  2. Find the Orientation selector and choose:
    • Vertical — stages stacked top to bottom
    • Horizontal — stages arranged left to right
  3. Find the Style selector and choose:
    • Default — standard layout
    • Compact — reduced padding for a denser layout
    • Detailed — shows conversion rates and additional labels on each stage
  4. Find the Size selector and choose Small, Default, or Large to scale the stage blocks.

Result: Orientation, style, and size can be combined freely. Detailed style is most useful when sharing the dashboard with stakeholders who need conversion rates visible at a glance.
