Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain the knowledge base of architectural design principles, product components, and infrastructure
• Lead the implementation of new functionalities, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Optimize the performance of services to ensure a fast and responsive user experience
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall codebase improvements
• Participate in Agile development methodology, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Participate in knowledge sharing with the team

Qualifications and skills

• Able to design and architect maintainable and scalable technical systems
• Proficiency in commercial development experience for at least 8 years (OOP, multi threading, high-load)
• Proven track record in developing REST services, coupled with a thorough understanding of network operations;
• Deep understanding of SOLID, DDD, various architecture design patterns
• Deep understanding of Data Engineering tech landscape
• Experience in architecting applications and justifying architectural decisions effectively;
• Proficiency in relational database management systems, with hands-on experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries, including indexing, transactions, and partitioning;
• Experience with NoSQL databases;
• Familiarity with cloud services and their development;
• Advanced proficiency in Linux usage at an expert level;
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices.
